TRAINING & CONSULTING

Founded in 1990, professional training and consulting company J.D. WESSON & ASSOCIATES, INC. grew out of the demand from public agencies in Northern California to have Mr. Wesson present his popular and motivating seminar, "Tactical Communications".

Mr. Wesson initially offered this course only to law enforcement personnel, through the local Law Enforcement Training Center. But, as the success of the course became known, requests began pouring in for Mr. Wesson to train other public service organizations. Realizing the challenges encountered by all public service professionals who deal with belligerent people on a daily basis, Mr. Wesson began to offer his training to all public agencies.

From this beginning, J.D. WESSON & ASSOCIATES, INC. has over the past eleven years grown into a nationally-recognized organization providing quality training to Public Service Organizations.

INVESTIGATIVE

In 1994, Mr. Wesson had the opportunity to begin working with a large national commercial insurance company, initially in the insurance investigative arena, then expanding into a leadership role as the Director of their Special Investigations Unit.  Mr. Wesson structured a national special investigations program for this carrier up until the sale of the company in 2000.

At that time he expanded his already successful training & consulting company by adding an investigative arm specifically focused on workers' compensation & general liability investigative programs throughout California & Oregon.

To date, Mr. Wesson's investigative company has investigators located in both states providing investigative training, consulting and investigative services for: Insurance companies, Third Party Administrators, Self Insured's, & State sponsored workers' compensation organizations.
