Founded in 2000, J.D. Wesson & Associates, Inc. (JDW) is a California licensed investigative company that provides cost-effective vendor management, consulting, training, and field investigations.
Core Work
JDW primary objective is to provide Vendor Management Programs to insurance carriers and self-insureds that include cost-containment, investigative oversight, consulting, and training. To that end, JDW utilizes a sophisticated web-enabled highly encrypted Case Management System (CMS) that tracks and monitors all components of vendor investigations and produces automated reports based on the client’s specific needs and/or statutory requirements. Additionally, the system allows the client “real time” access via the internet to the client. Supplement services include the following:
Field Investigations: Our investigative staff focuses on obtaining actionable information necessary to determine compensability and liability.
Background Checks: JDW provides a full range of background services that include public searches, social media, and medical/hospital/pharmacy checks.
Anti-Fraud Program: JDW provides consulting and training regarding anti-fraud investigations, compliance, and prevention. When requested, fraud investigations can be part of the program.
Workers' Compensation Program
This complex program requires very specialized expertise when investigating a claim, focusing on key areas of the claim.
General Liability Program
GL investigations can be complex and costly. Assigning the right type of investigator, with the proper background and expertise is key.
